# How do I specify rows as headers or footers in the detail view of my application?

I have a row of information on the detail view of my app that I’d like to separate as a header row - what’s the best way to accomplish this?

In Application Builder, select a row and then use the `Row Placement` field to mark it as a Header or Footer row.

In addition to the _how_ that @matt explained above, I want to point out that it is possible to have multiple header rows or footer rows. They will be sorted within the header or footer space by their `Sort Sequence` field, which is determined by where you drag & drop the row in Visual Builder.
