Let’s say I want to write to the Item Ledger with a whole new transaction type that doesn’t currently exist because my source document is outside Nextworld but leverages Nextworld’s inventory modules. The transaction type is similar to the current `Sales Order Shipment` but I don’t want to simply reuse that one because I will have Sales occurring in addition to Item Ledger Transactions from my external document. How hard/expensive is it to set one of those up and what implications do I need to think about?

Adding new custom transaction types is not currently supported.

What if I was prepared to write a big check - how much effort if so?
