# Inventory Levels

What application can I go to to review inventory levels?

There are 2 main applications that support users in reviewing inventory levels. The first is **Inventory Overview** and the second is **Item Balances**.

- **Inventory Overview** supports users in querying the system for particular inventory level information. The user must provide a Company, Org Unit, Unit of Measure, and Summarization Level. The results will display the on-hand balances and commitment buckets, as well as the available quantity based on the configured availability calculations.
- **Item Balances** is a little broader. While this application also provides real time on-hand balances and commitment buckets, unlike **Inventory Overview** , this application is able to provide results for **all** items in **all** organizational units in a single view and supports more options for filtering the results.

There is significant overlap between these applications but both will provide up to date inventory level information.
