# Is it possible to merge the field values of a record into a Text Template?

We have a text editor field where we plan to use the Text Templates feature to default information into the field. Is it possible to merge in the values from fields within the same record?
For example, if ‘Date’ is a field on the record, can we merge the value of that field (date = 2/28/26) into the Text template so that the text of “The date that the incident occured was \>.” is automatically populated into the Text Editor field via the template?

As far as I’m aware, this is not currently possible.
