# Pulling audit on deleted record

We have a customer who accidentally deleted a record. Is there a way to run a table audit for deleted records?

You can use the `Audit History Generation Utility` in conjuction with `Audit History Viewer` to generate full audit histories of audited tables which will include record deletions.

You will need a role such as `SYS - Record Audit` and additional table level security to see these results as the information that this surfaces can be sensitive, so that role should not be widely granted.

Is there any way to recover the deleted record to maintain the same nwId? @ian.p

@jess it is not possible today to recover deleted records. There is an idea in Nextworld’s backlog for this which I’m tagging this post to.
