When can we expect to have the patching schedule for this year?
The 25.2 patch schedule is published in 25.2 release pipeline environments for SD Partners. Here is a current screenshot of it:
It is published on the customer portal for customers.

Hi Ian, could you please help us understand what the patch cutoff date signifies?
The patch cutoff date is the date by which metadata must be promoted to 25.2DevPartner so that it gets picked up in a scheduled promotion to 25.2Test for subsequent deployment to production as part of that scheduled patch.
If you are in a working situation of everything’s-a-hot patch this isn’t really relevant. It’s only relevant for if you want to leverage the same mechanism we internally use for delivering new functionality to production on a regular cadence.
