One of our customers is wondering if it’s possible to have a unique URL for each production environment in NW (Dev, Test, and Prod), similar to how they do it in JD Edwards. They mentioned that their users are used to a separate link for PROD and Test environments and wanted to know if this is something NW can support.
There is not currently support for enabling this.

One option would be to use Drill Links to specific applications that include the environment name in it:
- https://example.com/#/drilllink?NwDrillZone=YourDevEnvironment&NwDrillApplication=nsSomeApplicationName&NwDrillForm=list
- https://example.com/#/drilllink?NwDrillZone=YourTestEnvironment&NwDrillApplication=nsSomeApplicationName&NwDrillForm=list
- https://example.com/#/drilllink?NwDrillZone=YourProdEnvironment&NwDrillApplication=nsSomeApplicationName&NwDrillForm=list
Alternatively, the links can be to dashboard pages, change NwDrillApplication to the dashboard name and change NwDrillForm to be dashboard.
Optionally, the customer could set up subdomain forwarding with their domain provider (configuration outside of Nextworld) that could redirect to the above URLs, i.e.:
