Changes lost when closing app-linked mini-app

I have an app link to a mini app. The app link is “Extend Trans Boundary” and “Refresh on mini app close”. The mini app is Advanced List. The parent app (the one with the app link) is built over table A, which is modified by the mini app. When I close my mini app, I expect the parent app to show the changes, per the “Refresh on mini app close” + “Extend Trans Boundary” help text. Instead, I get this popup when I close the mini app and do not see my changes in the parent app. Is this expected?

It looks like from your screenshot that you have hidden the save button on your mini-app. That combined with the particular pop-up you’re getting says to me that your changes you made in that nested container (aka extended txn boundary) are getting thrown away when you hit close. If you un-hide the save does that change things?

Since this is an Advanced List - List View, there was never a Save option.

This got answered in another thread; I’ll just post the answer here: Make the Advanced List app “Save As Group” and it lets you access a Save button on the List View to actually apply your changes.
