Hello - if there is an environment with only one company is there a tenant specific or any setting available where the default Company and Org Unit on applications like Customer Invoices are automatically added when performing a create without the user having to set the environment override?
We would like to have this default behavior in our environments without users having to set the override because we are hiding that ability in the UI with a configuration profile for security purposes.
Hi, thought this might help with the above, but it did not. Please along with the above, please advice what is the purpose if this setting “User Company from Override/Directory (sequential check)” in the Application setting definitions?
To my knowledge the User Company from Override/Directory sources values either from the User record or a Directory record that is specifically linked to their User record (unsure of the application). There is no global default setting.

To my knowledge, what you’re asking for here (global default company) isn’t something that’s currently available.
For the 2nd question asked, the Directory reference works by creating records in the Directory User Tenant Setup application which associates User records to employee Directory records. The primary Company/Org Unit as defined on the employee Directory record is what will start defaulting unless the user has done their own overriding.
Could we put in an enhancement request for global default company?
For the Directory User Tenant Setup we would have to go and create Employee Directory Records for each user right and then it would default hte company from there? But that isn’t by default created when we create a user right?
The Directory User Tenant Setup is not automatically created when defining a user, and yes, requires an Employee Directory record to have already been created.
Please submit a ticket of type Enhancement Request for the Global Default Company idea.
Okay I was wrong this solution does work related to directory the application I was in was just setting company from something different. Thank you!
