The EPP 10.1.1.3 Service Pack has been released.

Release version: 10.1.1.3 - updates and resolved issues

Formatter

  • Corrected printing without Variable graphics when not defined in request. Variable graphics enable you to dynamically change or exclude a graphic in your label designs. Labels now print properly when no graphic is loaded into the label.
  • Fixed issue that caused text strings with special or accented characters to truncate in IPL text items. Accented and special characters now print appropriately.
  • Addressed the issue causing bitmapped fonts to neglect wrapped text positions in ZPL. Text strings now wrap properly when longer than the printable width.
  • Corrected the issue causing SSCC-18 character truncations to ignore switch commands in ZPL labels.
  • Corrected the position of human readable attributes in Sato SBPL SSCC-18 barcodes.
  • Added underscore character support to data matrix barcodes and QR codes.
  • Added support for printing labels using substrings, including when the substring’s referenced variable is not defined in the request.
  • Fixed delimiter overrides in the Quick Label, Print Job method for batch printing.
  • Added asterisk character support to ‘code 3 of 9’ barcode printing.
  • ZPL printing no longer sets the default print mode to Tear Off.
  • Fixed Formatter option for Trim Spaces in print requests

Security

  • Corrected the issue causing Role assignments for LDAP users to be reset.

Printing

  • Addressed an issue with processing print requests using incorrect letter casing for SOCKET printer names.

Installer

  • Updated log4j component in eppRemoteSite.jar file to address security issues with earlier versions of the log4j component.
