EPP 10.2.1.0 Service Pack

The EPP 10.2.1.0 Service Pack has been recently released.

Release version: 10.2.1.0 - Updates and Resolved Issues

New Features

  • EPP 10.2.1.0 Adds Load Balancer Support
Organizations can distribute traffic across multiple EPP instances with automatic failover and/or round-robin distribution.

  • Health Check & Monitoring and Email Alerts

    • EPP server health monitoring with configurable thresholds and email alerts.
    • A new Health Info page has been created, with an enhanced dashboard and per-instance health selection.
    • An automated alert system emails administrators when components reach critical or down status. Monitoring DB connectivity, disk space, and printing activities.

Formatter

  • Fixed an issue with print jobs queued to LOCAL printers, when the associated Site/Bridge service is disconnected.

  • Corrected SOCKET printer polling intervals.

  • Dashboard displays correct active job counts.

  • Resolved 2D barcode scaling for image printer templates and HP LaserJet & Compatible [PCL] printer templates.

  • Fixed an issue with Code 128 barcode density attributes for HP LaserJet & Compatible [PCL] printer templates.

  • EPP backend update to Java 17 required changes to integrations with Linux CUPS servers for EPP LOCAL printer profiles.

Enhancement Engine

  • Fixed Program and Function renaming and deletions on the Enhancement Engine page.

File Drop Agent

  • The File Drop agent stopped polling permanently when it lost access to its configured polling directory (for example, a Windows network share). The agent now retries access to the path on each polling cycle instead of halting after a single failure.

Secure LDAP Integrations

  • Secure LDAP (LDAPS) connections failed to authenticate users. The connection handling has been corrected and LDAPS authentication now works as expected.

Bridge / Site Client

  • Introduced a configurable ‘maxConsecutiveConnectionFailures’ feature which can define how many times the EPP Bridge/Site service will retry connecting to the core EPP server, if the connection was severed. This sets the failure limit before shutdown (exit code 4). The default is “-1” for unlimited retries, but using a positive integer value will control how many times
