Can I leverage the use of a frozen filter on an interactive report? I’d like to limit results in an interactive report similarly to how application links can use a frozen filter. If I cannot, what is a good alternative to this?
Unfortunately filters cannot be frozen/disabled in an IR. The best alternative would be to use the “Pinned Filters” feature in the “filter and sort” category. You can set a default filter value, and mark that filter as required. That won’t stop the user from clearing it and filtering on a different value, but it will at least ensure they are filtering on a value.
