Good morning,
How do I assign parameters to an iframe? I’ve seen some code where we set the URL for the iframe, but my iframe looks for the following parameters:
frameborder=“”
height=“”
width=“”
srcdoc=””
I don’t have “source URL”, it will be all part of the srcdoc variable, and it would look like this:
< script type='text/javascript' id='ddj-pbc-url' src='ddj_url'></script> <ddj-app external-id='' source='' env='' redirect-url=''></ddj-app >
Hello Ivan, could you please confirm whether you’re using the iframe as a dashboard card, or within the detail form of an application?
You have the ability to dynamically influence a URL using the IFrame Container Configuration in the Dashboard Card Builder app, or via the Source URL field in the Content Items Definitions app.
@robert.provencal, this iframe would be used inside the mini app. Are you saying that if I use Content Item Definition, it will create an iframe with attribute srcdoc instead of src? I can manipulate attributes? This is not a typical static iframe; this is a dynamic app. If I can manipulate attributes of an iframe, could I schedule a meeting with you to show me how to do this?
Hello Ivan, the dynamic app with an iframe is purposefully not publicized because it isn’t a general availability feature. However, if your use case matches that capability, then I’d be more than happy to get in a meeting to show you how to configure this.
We can then potentially work with our designated product owner to make the case for this becoming a generally available feature based on demand.
@robert.provencal, how can we schedule a meeting? Do you have a “book with me” link?
I believe Ian setup a meeting for tomorrow to discuss.
