Users will be uploading and attaching legal documents to sales quotes. We want to email these sales quote attachments directly to customers via a form action logic block, but I don’t see a spot for attachments when setting up a Queue Event logic block action.
Is there any other action/setup we can build that will let us email record attachments?
Someone may chime in a better answer, I’m knowledgeable from the reporting side on this. You can accomplish this through the reporting framework if needed. The caveat is that the report framework is limited to sending in a single PDF output in emails, though you are able to combine multiple attachments into the emailed PDF file.
You would create a Composable Report in report builder, which would query for all attachments to include, as well as either query for the pre-existing sales quote report attachment, or newly generate that.
You can then use the queue report action within logic blocks and specify a business event that would email the report output.
