Secrets Manager for QA Testing in Nextworld

Does Nextworld offer any kind of Secrets Manager for QA automation testing? Our team currently is using the username and password for logging into NW within QA tests, but would like to transition to using secrets so that our QA teams can run tests that require authentication or access to protected services without hardcoding credentials.

Hi bsobota44!

No, we do not provide any means of integrating with Nextworld via secrets today (@jennifer.fitzhugh to confirm). We do support SSO via either SAML or OIDC. That would give you a way to access protected services without hardcoding credentials. Check out the help topic Single Sign On application step for help setting that up.

If you are a Nextworld customer or partner, you can also work with your system administrator to submit an official enhancement request with customer support. Include a link to this post in the support ticket. If you’re not a Nextworld customer, keep an eye on release notes. We’re always making improvements.
