Is there a way to change the default dashboard page that users see when they first log in?
Right now, the platform shows a “Start Page” by default, but I’d like to create a custom dashboard (with cards relevant to our users) and set that as the default landing page instead.
Ideally, I’d also like to make this default page role-based (e.g., different dashboards for GMs vs Controllers) so that a different dashboard shows depending on the user type.
At a user level, I believe the first favorited dashboard will be the landing page. So If an individual user wanted that behavior, they could just favorite the dashboard. You can also select “Add To Favorites Bar” on the dashboard page, and it appear as a “global favorite” in every user’s favorite bar for the environment that owns the dashboard page. I believe global favorites show up in the first position on the favorites bar so it will become their default page by proxy.
I don’t know if either of these things are quite what you’re looking for.
Thank you! I guess what I am looking for is a global way to control the landing page and have it be persona-based. Is that possible?
I am not sure. I’ll leave that to others to try to answer. Global favorites is the only thing I am aware of.
