Ability for Detail Record View of Application to Be Application Link

Hello,

I notice that when I use the View GL app link to open GeneralJournalJoin application and I double click on a record, it opens the Journal Entry application. Is there any way we can mimic this behavior in our owned applications to open a link when double-clicking to open a record instead of displaying the detail view of an application.

Hi Melanie! Yes, this feature is called an “Edit Override” and it configurable in the application definition. You can create an app link, and configure this link to launch when the user edits a record
