Can one do dynamic app links on a subtable’s field actions?

Yes, this works. You’ll need to create the standard App Link(s) that associate to the Dynamic App Link, then select the following criteria in the Field Actions subtable:

  • Logic Block = DynamicApplicationLinks_LinkName
  • Display Name = [whatever it should be called]
  • Subtable = [name of the subtable the field action attaches to]
  • Field = [name of the field within the subtable]
