Hi, we are interested in baking ED into our development process and want to understand what is possible at the moment. I am able to see ED-related release notes under the Artificial Intelligence family, but nothing comes up in the help viewer. Excited to learn more and implement this into our workflow!

Hi Pablo! I’m curious what features specifically you’re looking for, because we should have some good doc on Ed and AI in there. In particular, take a look at the Build with Ed and Intelligence Home topics.

But if you can tell me what you searched for, I can better direct you (and also make sure we’ve optimized our content for the right key words.)

Also, we did make some substantial additions to these topics in 25.2, so if you’re in an older environment they might not be present yet.

Hi Carrie! Thanks for the reply, we are curious about the general capabilities. So that we can vet the usefulness of them in our development workflow. I am not seeing any documents with either Build with Ed and Intelligence Home in the help/release section. Maybe I am looking in the wrong place, can you share the links to these documents?

On a side note, we are curious on how we can use ED to automate our patching process. Does ED have access to create records/ run actions in the Metadata Manifest, Promotion Manager, and Validation Workbench applications?

I’m guessing you’re still in a 25.1 environment. Try these topics in the help:

  • Development with Nextworld Intelligence (changed to Intelligence Home in 25.2)

  • Tips for interacting with Ed for application development (changed to Build with Ed in 25.2)

You should be able to search for them; unfortunately I don’t have a good way to send a link. Let me know if you still can’t find them and we’ll get them to you another way.

Also, I don’t believe Ed can currently access the Metadata Manifest, Promotion Manager, or Validation Workbench applications. I would love to have you submit an official enhancement request with customer support. Include a link to this post in the support ticket.
