How can I control the color of visualizations within an interactive report?

I have a pie chart visualization on an interactive report. Is it possible to control the color of the visualization that are assigned to each pie chart section? For example, type 1 = blue, type 2 = red, type 3 = green, etc….

Right now, best I can tell is that the platform randomly assigns colors from the theme. Any insight into how colors and visualizations work together?

You are correct in that the platform assigns the colors based on the themes. There is limited support for developers to set custom colors unfortunately. The only support we have today is for info box visualizations - if you are grouping with a list lookup, you can opt to use the list lookup colors for the info boxes.
