How can I add new fields to my application after I’ve already created it?
Within Application Builder, you can use the “Fields” section in the left hand pane to create brand new fields and add them directly to your application. Every data item type is available to select from. Once you have added your field to a form on the application, you can change the label of that field directly within the builder pane. You can also easily change the data item name, label, short label, and help text in the right hand properties pane once you have added it to your form.
You can also adding existing fields to your app. Within the same “Fields” section in the left hand pane, select “Existing”, then use the “Search for data items” field to search for and add existing data items to your application.
Upon saving after adding new fields to your app, the underlying table will be updated as well.
