How to use an app link to run a report mapping in data?

I have an advanced list application to filter records. I also have a report built over the table. My current application link takes me to the list view of the report application. Instead, I would like to kickoff the report with one click passing in the filter criteria from my advanced list. I image this is similar to how you generate a customer invoice directly from the record.

You need to have your app link configured to launch the report application to the form type ‘Container’.

You also need to use the data mapping with the value of ‘default field’ and ‘container’ to map in parameters for the report execution.
