Previously in a version of the Android Mobile Client for Zebra devices, the Mobile Client would crash if a minimum field length was configured and on the Zebra Device, Intent Output was enabled. This issue needed to be address, and was addressed in 9.0.11.10190.
Once released we had reports of issues with scanner returning a blank value when a barcode was scanned. To resolve this we recommended that the following device side scanning configuration is updated.
- On the Zebra device open the DataWedge application that comes preloaded on the device from Zebra.
- Disable Profile 0
- In the DSI Profile
- Intent Output: Set to disabled
- Keystroke Output: Set to enabled
- Basic Data Formatting: Set Send Enter to enabled
- Intended Output: Set to disabled
