List App Type - Cannot Create Layout or Extend

Hello,

We are looking to change the GeneralJournalJoin (View GL app link) application and noticed this is an app of type List Only. From what I can tell in the system, this means that there is no way to create an extension or make a layout off of this application. Does this mean its not possible to add our own fields to this app?

@melanie.spence You cannot add extended fields in an advanced list over a join.
There was a plan for it under the last I heard: BOTPLAN-21797 Join Table Extension.
