Why is purchase overhead not included in my cost simulation for the purchased items?
This could be for a variety of reasons, but we likely need to clarify some more information. Have you completed a cost simulation and are not seeing purchasing overhead build into the Item Cost Estimate, or are you mid-simulation and not seeing information about overhead?

The most common reason the cost simulation does not display overhead information is that the overhead group and item assignments have not been completed or the item does not have cost component information established. It’s also possible that the item in question has an Average cost, in which case the simulation won’t run correctly either.
If your purchase overhead setup is complete, you also have to check the Include Purchase Overheads on the Scenario tab in your Cost Simulation Scenario.
