Use of nwSkipTotal

Hi there

Please can you clarify the use/purpose of nwSkipTotal in API calls, specifically fetches? I am seeing a significant difference in performance when passing true vs false. I have checked the integration documentation, but couldn’t find anything there unless I am looking in the wrong place?
