User Session Timeout/Length

Continuing the discussion from When is Nextworld going to provide a warning to users before auto logging them out after an 8 hour period:

Describe the issue

I am experiencing timeouts after about 2 hours of tab inactivity despite Chrome having the “Keep this tab active” option.

Expected Behavior

I’d like to be able to keep my tabs/sessions open longer despite no page activity.

Alternatively and possibly a stronger idea would be the ability to create a snapshot of all the pages I was on allowing me to easily open all of those pages without navigating each one manually.

Alternatives Considered

I have attempted to click the shareable link before stepping away and pasting the link onto a note for access later. I have attempted to write down names of the pages, applications and records I am referencing. I have attempted to interact with the page to trigger a token refresh and maintain activity before timeout.

Additional Context

I run into this often where I am working on a task with a handful of tabs open but then I need to pivot to help a colleague or head out for lunch. I make sure to save my work if I was making any changes but often times I am just referencing some data.

When I am finally able to get back to the work I initially started, I have been logged/timed out of the application. Logging back in brings me to the homepage for each tab which requires me to re-navigate to where I was.

@connor.hoffman 2 hour timeouts isn’t an issue that I’ve heard others report, and doesn’t align with the Nextworld session time out. Can you please create a Freshdesk ticket for this as it seems more like a bug to me.
