Voiding Entries on the GL vs Voided Entries

Hi there,
Please can you confirm a quick question please. Would the transaction type Void Cash Receipt not be expected to not be returned if filtering on Void Status is empty? Is it not considered a Voiding entry? I am seeing results in production where I get Void Cash Receipt entries when filtering on Void Status is empty. This seems to be the only Void transaction type I can see this happening with. (@claire.minnaar)
Clarifications:

  • Using the General Ledger application and an Interactive Report over the GL
  • JE Status is empty on GL Header. I was told previously to exclude entries which are voiding entries (not voided entries), to use the above field in the filter

@claire.minnaar you are correct to filter by JEStatus = empty. There is one value in “JE Status” on the GL Header: “Voiding”. So when filtering by empty, Void Cash Receipt would not be expected. I will need to reach out to the dev team and potentially get a bug logged.
