How can I see my work order’s variances before closing the work order?
You can look at your work order variances before the work orders are closed and posted by accessing Work Order Variance Calculations on the Product Cost Accounting menu.
You can run your variances by org unit on work orders when they are in release and/or completed status.
Once you create a work order variance calculation for an org unit, you can reuse the calculation instead of creating a new one each time you want to run variances.
You can calculate variances for one work order or all work orders in the org unit.
Once variances are calculated, the variances can be reviewed on the Work Order Variance Analysis Reports on the Product Cost Accounting menu.
