Could I get some information please on where the Allow Multiple Companies base module setting gets referenced throughout the Nextworld business applications especially where it causes a behavior difference when set to true vs false?
For example, one place I am aware of is additional calls will get made to an Avalara Companies list endpoint when calculating taxes when this setting is true. What others are there?
The setting is used in financials reporting, Post Deprecation and Create Year End Close applications. When AllowMultipleCompanies = False, the option to run the reports by company ranges is hidden and only the single company option is shown to the user.
In additional to hiding options on the UI, the setting is used in validation logic on the directory and processing logic for post deprecation.
