Availability status codes can be applied to location or inventory objects.
Location objects include the following: Location, Zone
Inventory objects include the following: Item, Lot, Serial Number, Owner, Job, Job Cost Code, Inventory Handling Unit, Outbound Packing Unit
Availability status codes can be configured with the following duration types: Timed - Hold is applied for a specific amount of time, Permanent - Hold is applied as long as the availability status code is active

Brent - are there plans on the roadmap to have other availability status types besides no movement? Where you could still move items into a location but you can’t remove them or the opposite no movements in but out is allowed?
Yes, the following additional availability movement types are in the roadmap backlog.
- movement in only
- movement out only
- movement with warning
