Where is the definition type configured for Bill of Materials?

Hey Tiani, you can set that up in the Definition Types application from the Menu

Hi Jack,

I confirmed I have a definition type created and assigned to my kit. However, the definition type is not available for selection in the bill of materials. Is this a bug or a configuration issue?

So, there could be a bug or something else. Based on the two screen shots though, looks like the definition type was created in one environment, and your Kit BOM is trying to be made in a different environment. Does that definition type also exist in the other environment?

There are also two different Bill Of Material apps from the menu, Bill of Materials and Kit Bill Of Materials. The app setting on the Bill Of Materials would filter out Kit definition types, so make sure you’re using Kit Bill Of Materials.
