Hi team, I’m working on a spike to research adding configurable auto-summing logic to Vendor Invoice (similar to how Receipts auto-calculates the remaining amount). A few questions:
Does our app already have a client-level or user-level toggle that turns a feature ON/OFF? If yes, can you point me to the module?
For something like this, would it make more sense to control it at the dealership level or user level? Since AP is critical, the concern is users might tab through without reviewing.
The spike asks me to find an existing configuration example in our system. Do you know of one I can reference as a pattern to follow?
I’m not sure how Receipts auto-calculates the remaining amount, you might need to include some screenshots or a video for that.
Nextworld doesn’t currently support a system-admin like toggling of features on and off. Feature
access currently has to be managed through user security.
I’m not sure, would need to review the use case. If you’re willing, feel free to book some time on my calendar to discuss: Bookings with me
No I don’t, I’m struggling to conceptualize the problem. I think a screen share would be helpful here to progress this.
Based on a discussion just now, with regards question 1., you can control specific granular functionalities via settings applications, for example, whether a logic block that runs on Row Added does anything or not. I misunderstood the original question as being broader and applying to the question of whether individual applications can be enabled or disabled, which isn’t currently possible via a flag.
