We would like to use data import definitions on a dashboard but it is a standard application. Is our only option to copy it the application? IF we copy, we would need to recopy every patch to ensure we have the latest functionality creating technical debt. Does anyone have a recommendation?
This sounds like a use case for creating an application layout for that app and changing the style to mini app. If I recall correctly, creating mini-app versions of standard apps that perform the exact same way and inherit changes from the base application was one of the driving use cases for the application layouts feature.
