Guided Tour - Configure to highlight "Edit"?

How do I configure my Guided Tour step to highlight “Edit”? I was able to configure so it would select the “Actions” (i.e. 3 dots) but have not been able to figure out “Edit”.

Hey Bethany! You can’t specifically highlight the Edit button in a Guided Tour. There are some limitations. You can’t highlight system buttons or other buttons found within form/row action menus. You can highlight an entire form action or row action region, though.

Supported elements include:

  • Button—For internal use only.
  • Custom—For internal use only.
  • Field—Enter the Data Item Name associated with the field.
  • Field Action—Enter the Data Item Name associated with the field.
  • Form Action—Enter “Actions.” (This highlights the entire form action menu)
  • Header—Identifies the app page header row. Use Chrome Developer Tools to locate the specific element name.
  • Page—Identifies a specific detail app page. Use Chrome Developer Tools to locate the page’s element ID.
  • Row—Enter the display name specified during configuration.
  • Row Action—Enter “Actions.” (This highlights the entire row action menu)
