How do you create a dropship Sales Order that gets added to an existing Purchase Order?

Is there a way I can make a new Sales Order with a drop ship line and add it to an existing drop ship Purchase Order?

I know for an Order that already has a Purchase Order associated, if you add a new Drop Ship Line, that you can add the new line to the same purchase order by using the Purchase Order field on the Sales Order Detail expansion to select the PO you already created.

I’d be interested in how to add a New Sales Order’s Drop Ship line to the PO of another SO though. It’d be nice to group POs together so I can get better bulk rates or not have to ask my buyer to group POs X,Y and Z together

A New Sales Order currently cannot be created and associated to an existing Purchase Order.
A new drop ship line can be added to an existing Open Sales Order and be associated to an existing drop ship purchase order.
