If I merge metadata into the playpen family as part of a merge request, and that merge request is included in a metadata manifest, which is then added to the promotion manager, will the playpen objects be excluded from the promotion so they are not migrated?

Is there an easy way to remove an object from migration in the promotion manager tool, whether it was merged by mistake or shouldn’t be included, without creating a new merge request?
Question 1:
Right now we have no guaranteed protections against adding invalid families in a promotion. If they are added to the Manifest, the Promotion Manager will move them.
Note: This will not always be the case. There are epics underway that will give users more control over protecting themselves from promoting invalid families or references to objects in invalid families.
Question 2:
In the Metadata Manifest application navigate to the Manage Details tab. Search for the objects you want to delete and delete them from the Manifest. The next time you run a Promotion for that Manifest, deleted objects will not be included.
Note: You can also use this tab to manually include objects. Use the Object Type To Add and Object Name to Add fields to add objects to the Manifest.
