I’m exploring a use case where I want to include a “signature field” on an application.

Context: I have an application where I want to allow users to sign off when a task or piece of work has been completed, essentially confirming their acknowledgment or approval.

Is there a way to do this within the platform? Can I create a signature-style field that captures user input (e.g., drawing or e-signature)?

Yes, this is a new feature introduced in 25.2. Picture data items can be configured with “signature” style options. The signature will be stored as a PNG on the record.
