Does the system support modification BOMs and if so how do I set one up?
Yes, modification BOMs are supported. A modification BOM can be used to remove and add parts to a finished good to convert the finished good into a different finished good. When there are multiple modification BOMs that allow a product to be converted to another product and vice versa, this can cause a recurisive BOM definition to be defined. It is important configure the BOM component to not explode the assembly that is being modified.
