Record Templates Security

Is there security that can be set up for application record templates?

Right now, there is not separate security for template record access vs. regular transactional record access. Whatever the user has access to do in the table normally will be their same access to create/use a template for that table.

Are there any tricks for why a template might not show up? I created a manual template for a H/D record, and successfully used it once. Now, when I login the manual template that I created is no longer available. Any insights as to why a template might disappear (sounds like it’s not security related based on this thread).

The only thing I can think of is 1. Someone else deleted it. 2. When you go into manage templates, is your Show Favorites on, if so and the template wasn’t favored it won’t show on the list.

It might be the case that someone deleted it. Did you try toggling off the “Show favorites” to rule out your second theory?
