HI there

If one sets up the ability for a table and app to support creation of templates, are those templates able to be globally accessible for other users? Currently, we are seeing it’s local to the user who created it.

Good morning @claire.minnaar ! As soon as you save a template they should automatically be globally available to all users (dependent upon regular RUID permissions). Can you please work with your system administrator to file a bug?

@claire.minnaar I looked into this a bit more. Can you please try something for me? Can you have someone go into your app that has templates enabled, and do the following steps and tell me if they can see your templates after these steps?

  1. Click on the green carrot next to the Create button

  2. Go to Manage Templates - (This should be enough right here. The user should see all templates there.)

  3. Favorite a template by clicking on the star to the left of the template name

  4. Close out of the Manage Templates menu

  5. Click on the green carrot next to the Create button again.

The template menu that is shown to the user on the carrot will show their own templates they’ve made or ones they’ve favorited. However, if they need to see one that doesn’t fall under that criteria, they can go in to the Manage Templates application to see the full list of available templates.

Let me know how that goes and we can move forward from here!
