Hey Kyle, you can use the Lot Manager application to define and manage attributes of a specific lot. There you can define Lots by Organizational Unit, Origination Date and a few other settings.

Try searching “Lot Management” in the Help documentation if you need more detailed information

It’s also possible to create Lots when receiving into inventory for the first time in many cases. Work Orders have the ability to create new Lots for an individual production run and Purchase Order Receipts provide the ability to “Create New Lots” via application link in addition to their usual “Assign Lots” behavior, for some examples.

In order to effectively create Lot records that have all information defined how you want, the Lot Manager application is your best bet.
